THE FRIENDS OF ONE

ANNOUNCEMENT OF CHANGES FOR THE NON-VOTING MEMBERS

Non-voting Members of ONE, Incorporated are called "The Friends of ONE." They are the people who are deeply interested in the work ONE is doing for homophile men and women and who support this work in various ways. Some contribute books for the Library, as well as clippings, documents and other valuable research materials. Others work to increase the circulation of the Corporation's publications. Still others write for these publications or do many other tasks which benefit ONE.

In turn, ONE expresses its appreciation to them by enrolling them as Nonvoting Members who are entitled to certain privileges. The Corporation announces several changes in these privileges which it is hoped will bring The Friends of ONE still more closely into the circle of ONE's widely varied activities. Non-voting Memberships for 1963 are arranged as follows (existing Memberships will be adjusted accordingly):

ANNUAL MEMBERS will receive ONE Magazine monthly and also the interesting ONE Confidential (never sold, or otherwise available) monthly: $15.00 per year.

CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS will receive ONE Magazine and ONE Confidential monthly; also, ONE Institute Quarterly and the Annual Report of the Corporation (a full summary of its entire operations) which is not otherwise available: $30.00 per year.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS will receive ONE Magazine and ONE Confidential monthly, ONE Institute Quarterly, the Annual Corporation Report and, upon request, a tape recording selected by ONE's Board of Directors from Midwinter sessions, meetings and lectures presented by ONE: $50.00 per year (payments may be made $5.00 monthly, if desired).

It is hoped that these tapes will give those at a distance a chance to "attend" some of the activities held in Los Angeles and give a better understanding of their scope and breadth.

LIFE MEMBERSHIP, supplying all of the above privileges, is given to those who contribute $1,000.00 or more to the Corporation's work.

HONORARY MEMBERSHIP is conferred by the Corporation upon persons performing special and distinguished services in the field of ONE's interest. The late Blanche M. Baker, Ph.D., M.D. was an Honorary Member.
